Dexter Beef Marrow Bones

Grassfed Dexter Marrow Bones are pre-cut for your convenience, sold in packs of one whole  marrow bone cut into two or three pieces.  Bone marrow is highly valued in traditional cultures that have been consuming marrow since we first started to hunt large grazing animals. It doesn't come much more paleo than grassfed bone marrow. Tackling a marrow bone is a tough job, even with our modern, steel saws so the lengths that early humans went to in order to extract the marrow are testament to it's value as a highly nutritious foodstuff.

Marrow bones may be added to beef stock & bone broth, but to really celebrate the marrow in all it's glory season lightly before roasting in a hot oven for 15 minutes. The resulting hot marrow can be spread on rough wholemeal toast (no need for butter!) or enjoyed simply as they come with a side salad of fresh leaves.
