A Rosewood Grassfed Dexter Ox Tongue is a hard working muscle, responsible for grazing the herbs and grasses of the pastures here in the Lower Derwent Valley. Supplied whole.

Ox Tongue has a richly unique texture and if you've only ever encountered tongue brined & cold sliced you are in for a treat when combined with a thick rich red wine sauce, creamy mash, topped with fresh asparagus! 

Supplied frozen. Best defrosted in the fridge overnight. May require further slicing & trimming before cooking.

Please note; All our meat is packaged without the use of preservatives (which maintain a bright colour in meat) and may be subject to oxidation before cooking.
